Check it out!
Rapper 2 Chainz may rap about “feds watching” on his recent single, but it’s his record label that’s keeping a close eye on him. The rapper tells MTV News record label executives and collaborator Pharrell Williams took issue with him using the word “prosecutor” in “Feds Watching.” On the track, 2 Chainz raps that he’ll “close the docket” on a prosecutor. Apparently, the reaction to his use of the word was similar to that of a cuss word. He says rappers “almost can’t say it” because a prosecutor is a government official.
Two Chainz is gearing up to release his second album “B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time” on September 10th.
We can’t wait for the homie to debut his new music!
